DoZ Headphone Amplifier - The DoZ is ideally suited to headphone use. Revision-A boards now shipping __ Designed by Rod Elliott ESP
HeadBanger Headphone Amp Construction Kit - After the euphoria over receiving my new Sony Minidisc bundle had partially subsided, I noticed that the portable unit, the MZ-E40, has a rather weak output. Measurements showed that it can only manage 80mV rms output and only about 74dB SPL output from the phones. This is when recording at average level with 8dB of headroom. In contrast __ Designed by Stephen H. Lafferty
Headphone Adaptor - A simple adaptor to provide a headphone output to an existing power amplifier __ Designed by Rod Elliott ESP
Headphone Amplifier - In the fall of 2001, I have built one of the Stor designs: a single-ended class A headphone amplifier with only three transistors per channel: one BC109 (voltage amplifier with local negative feedback) and two 2N3055s (modulated current source). At first, I thought that this circuit could hardly sound good. However, simulations indicated low THD. Moreover, the harmonic spectrum was nice: mainly second and relatively few and weak higher-order components. A tube-like spectrum, in my opinion a good thing ! This encouraged me to give the circuit a try __ Designed by Aren van Waarde
Headphone Amplifier - Can be directly connected to CD players, tuners and tape recorders. __ Contact: Flavio Dellepiane, fladello @ tin.it
Headphone Amplifier - An amplifier to drive low to medium impedance headphones built using discrete components __ Designed by Andy Collison
Headphone driving for soundcards - Computer soundcards typically have line level and speaker level outputs. Neither of those is usually nott very suitable for driving headphones: If you connect the headphones to the line level output you will usally loose tha bass frequencies because of small coupling capacitors. Line output circuitry might be overloaded because of too low input impedance and this can cause distortion __ Designed by Tomi Engdahl
Hi-Fi Headphone Amp The intention is to permanently insert the headphone amp between pre and power amps, although it can be used as a stand-alone item. The input relay is operated by auxiliary contacts on the headphone sockets through a transistor driver (with a small delay) so as to mute the power amp input when listening on headphones __ Designed by Rod Elliott ESP

Hi-Fi Headphone Amplifier - Can be directly connected to CD players, tuners and tape recorders. * Tested with several headphone models of different impedance: 32, 100, 245, 300, 600 & 2000 Ohm. * Old 8 Ohm impedance headphones can be also driven, but these obsolete devices are not recommended. * Schematic shows left channel and power supply (common to both channels). * Numbers in parentheses show IC1 right channel pin connections. * A correct grounding is very important to eliminate hum and ground loops. Connect to the same point the ground sides of J1, P1, C2, C3 & C4. Then connect separately the input and output grounds to the power supply ground. __ Designed by Richard Crowley
High-Performance Stereo Headphone Amplifier, Pt.1 - If you can't afford a high-performance amplifier and loudspeakers, you can still have the best possible hifi sound, with this headphone amplifier and a set of high-quality headphones. __ SiliconChip
High-Performance Stereo Headphone Amplifier, Pt.2 - Last month we introduced our new Hifi Headphone Amplifier which features very low distortion and noise. It can even drive efficient 8-ohm speakers. This month, we show you how to build and test it. __ SiliconChip
I.R. Headphone SystE - M - The 555 forms on oscillator generating pulses at a frequency of about 100kHz. Pin 5 on the 555 is the "control voltage" pin. A voltage applied to this pin will vary the frequency of the oscillations. If the input is an audio frequency alternating voltage, it will modulate the frequency of the oscillator. We therefore have a frequency modulated (f. m.) infra-red beam. __ Designed by © David Hoult
Infrared Audio Headphone Link for TV - Do you have trouble understanding what's being said on the TV? Do you need the volume cranked up too loud for everyone else? Do you have a hearing aid as well? If you said yes to any other these questions, here is your answer: an infrared transmitter and receiver to let you listen to the TV sound via headphones. That way, you can listen as loudly as you like, without disturbing anyone else. __ SiliconChip
Portable Headphone Amp - Another contributed circuit, this is a complete portable headphone amp that features crossfeed. __ Designed by Rod Elliott ESP
Portable Headphone Amplifier - 3V Battery powered High Performance unit __ Contact: Flavio Dellepiane, fladello @ tin.it
Portable Headphone Amplifier for MP3 Players - Fixing Transformer Buzz In The Class-A Amplifier __ SiliconChip
Stereo Headphone Amplifier - This is an improved version of headphone amplifier I've built many years ago. I wanted so much to share it with you because this simple circuit has done a great service
Studio Series Stereo Headphone Amplifier - A top-class unit for the audio enthusiast! __ SiliconChip
Telephone FM Transmitter - This FM transmitter attaches in series to one of your phone lines. When there is a signal on the line (that is, when you pick up the handset) the circuit will transmit the conversation. In particular it will radiate from the phone line itself. It is a passive device, there is __ Designed by Electronics DIY
Telephone Headset Adaptor - Keep your hands free with this simple low-cost project. It can be used with any phone that uses RJ11 modular plugs and sockets. __ SiliconChip
Telephone Headset Amplifier - This circuit goes between a telephone and a headset. The project has a headset cord and plug (cut from a cheap cell phone headset) on the input and a suitable jack on the output. The speaker signal passes through this circuit, but the microphone signal is __ Designed by Andrew R. Morris
Two-Way Stereo Headphone Adaptor - Do you have a stereo amplifier without a headphone socket but want to listen to your music via headphones? If so, this versatile Stereo Headphone Adaptor will do the job. It connects between your amplifier and loudspeakers, has several operating modes and features two output sockets with individual volume controls. __ SiliconChip
