20 Watt GaAs-FET Power on 2.3 GHz - (circuit / schematic
added 6/03) |
|
20 Watt Power Amplifier - This IC chip was designed
specifically for use in power boosting applications in automobiles. It
is self protecting against short circuits and thermal problems. In the
bridge configuration shown it will deliver 20 watts of power into a 2
ohm speaker operating at 14.4 volts. [Randy Linscott, designer] |

20 Watt Power Amplifier - The LM1875 is a monolithic power
amplifier offering very low distortion and high quality performance
for consumer audio applications....(added 04/03/02) |

45W HEXFET Power Amplifier - An ideal solution to make a good, low cost power
amplifier ….(electronic schematic added 11/08) |

4W Amplifier - I have recently included a page about AF amplifers for use with
Homebrew rigs. In this I mentioned that I may include a practical one-watt circuit,
complete with PCB foil and layout. Here it is, but I have taken the liberty of engineering
it to provide 4-watts of AF output and with a frequency response almost suitable for Hi-Fi
applications.... [from Harry Lythall's website] |

55 Watt Originally 75W Power Amplifier - (circuit / schematic added 6/03)
|
|
555 Amplifier - The 555 can be used as an amplifier. It operates very similar to
pulse-width modulation. The component values cause the 555 to oscillate at approx 66kHz
and the speaker does not respond to this high frequency. Instead it responds to the
average CD value of the modulated output and demonstrates the concept of pulse-width
modulation. The chip gets very hot and is only for brief demonstrations.

60 Watt into 8 Ohms Power Amplifier - A simple amp to build, uses commonly
available parts and is stable and reliable (added 4/02) |
|
60 Watt Power Amplifier - (schematic added 9/02) |
|
60-100W Hi-Fi Power Amp - 100W into 4 or 8 ohms. Has excellent
performance, and is easy to build. (added 05/06/07) |

60W Class-A Power Amp - circuit is on last page. There is one amplifier
configuration that is universally accepted as the ideal for audio use: Class A operation.
Many early amplifiers operated in Class A, but….(circuit added 04/05/06) |

65W HEXFET Power Amplifier - A medium power amplifier that is characterized by
a lot of good sound quality, but simultaneously is very simple in the construction. Him
uses, enough time in my active loudspeakers. In his output stage exist the very good FET
transistors, technology HEXFET,....(added 07/07/07) |
