PIC microprocessor drives 20 LED dot  or bar-graph display -  1-Sep-06 Issue of EDN  Indicator circuit features low cost and minimal component count....[Design Idea by Noureddine Benabadji, University of Sciences and Technology, Oran, Algeria; Edited by Brad Thompson and Fran Granville]
PIC NIC Ethernet Controller -  PICNIC is a project to add 10BaseT Ethernet controller to PIC17F877, and it can run as an network-enable device.  This project is based on tristate's PICNIC product. And I just change the temperature sensor's circuits to improve the precision on A/D convert….(electronic schematic added 11/08)
PIC NiCad Battery Charger -  Circuit designed by Peter Hayles. This cheap and easy to build NiCd/NiMH Battery Charger is suitable for automatically charging a wide range of batteries for many applications. Proper chargers are usually expensive and cheap chargers supplied....(added 10/05)
PIC Phone Line Controller v2 -  This is a newer version of previous device with a single relay.  This one can have up to 6 relays and 6 sensor-state inputs. The task was to build a device that connects to the phone line….(design added 11/08)
PIC PIN/ Port Extender  -  This circuit based around 74LS154 will extend PIC / AVR microcontroller output PINs from 4 to up to 16. It can also be used for extending parallel port output pins. …....
PIC plots pixels sans controller -  02/16/98 EDN-Design Ideas....It is sometimes desirable to display the output of a PIC µC graphically, rather than numerically. However, the operation increases system complexity and expense. In addition to the LCD itself, you usually need a graphics controller and at least 1 kbyte of RAM. However, you can obtain a satisfactory plot....File has many circuits, scroll to find this one....[Design Idea by Daryl Christopher, Juniata College, and Tom Fisher, Inexpensive Systems, Huntingdon, PA]
PIC Programmable Security System -  This project uses the 12F675, it was chosen because of its low cost, A/D convertor and flash memory.  This security system was designed…....
PIC Programmer -  The project presented here will provide you with the ability to program a PIC from your parallel printer port on your PC computer. To program a PIC is relatively simple. A standard 5 volt DC supply voltage is connected…. [Michael A. Covington]

PIC Programmer -  As you can see, only a few standard elements are used and the hardware is very simple to build. So here are only a few words about hardware. Supply voltage can be either AC or DC. Voltage Vdd must be between 4.5 and 5.5 V. For this purpose integrated stabiliser 78L05 (Vdd=5V) is used. It has current limitation (protection) 100 mA and with this feature protects inserted PIC from damage in case something is wrong connected. Programming voltage 13V is provided with 78L08....[Bojan Dobaj http://www.picallw.com]
PIC Programmer 2 -  (electronic circuit added 7/03)
PIC Programmer sent by FcoArroyo -  Francisco Arroyo Garcia sent this schematic as an alternative to program MICROCHIP PICs.  This programmer is a JDM-based and works fine to program the PIC 16F628A. (design added 12/06)
