V25 board - V25 is one of the NEC V series microcontrollers. It is
V30 cored microcontroller that integrated with sirial ports, parallel ports,
timers, DMAC and others. (added 10/05) |

V53A board - This is a microcomputer board used V53A. V53A is one
of the NEC V series microcontrollers. It is integrated on a chip V33A core,
8259, 8253, 8251, 8271 and others. V33A is very fast that same as 80286
procesor. (added 10/05) |

VCR Ping Pong Game - Here is a fascinating and nostalgic project
that kept me up many, many nights last summer (creating it, not playing the
game!). I had long thought it would be exciting to try to generate video
from a PIC, and with built-in A/D converters available for the paddles, the
game of Pong seemed an obvious application to prove the concept. The most
amazing thing about this project is the small number of parts. My boss joked
that it involves 17 cents worth of parts....[Designer is David B. Thomas] |

Very Easy Single-Side PCB for Easy-Downloader V1.2 - Puiu
Chiselita from Romania provides us a very easy single-side PCB with some
modification for RS232 level converter and indicating LED. Puiu detailes how
to make the board at home and gives some useful trick to making a board
easier. ….(electronic schematic added 06/09) |

Video Intrusion - This device uses a PIC16F819 and an LM339 to detect motion
on a video signal. The incoming video is 'clamped' using one section of the LM339, the
sync tips are detected with another section, and a 3rd section can detect VBI or other
data.…....[Luhan Monat - Mesa Arizona] |

Video Switcher - Monitoring several cameras on one monitor is usually done
in one of two ways: divide the screen into sections and show them all at once, or time
sequence the cameras onto the whole screen. This device uses the second method
(which, if you don't already know,….(electronic schematic added 08/08) [Luhan Monat -

Voice Record/ Playback Circuit - The ISD1000A is a Direct Analog Storage
device which allows you to store 20 seconds worth of voice data on an IC chip which
can be play backed anytime. The data stored will stay in memory even if the power is
removed. To use the circuit below simple apply power to the circuit, press the record
button and hold. Speak clearly into the microphone. You have up to 20 seconds…. [Randy

Voice Scrambler - With this circuit you can modify how your voice sounds by
changing the pitch of your voice. This circuit can be connected to a phone and
with a duplicate circuit on the end of the phone line, you can have a scrambled voice
communication. The way the.… [Randy Linscott's website] |

Voice Synthesizer - This system was designed to facilitate the development
of a low cost speech module using a PIC and some EEPROM memory. This has already
been done (see PICTalker) using 64k of memory. So far, this device is working with
only 11k of memory by using techniques discussed below....[Luhan Monat - Mesa Arizona] |

Voice-storage chips talk to each other - 11/05/98 EDN-Design Ideas....Of the
many solid-state voice-storage chips available, the ChipCorder family from
Integrated Storage Devices (ISD, San Jose, CA] is one of the most user-friendly. A
single chip integrates nonvolatile voice memory, a microphone preamplifier, and an
output stage capable of driving a 16 Ohm loudspeaker.….Several circuits here, scroll

Voltage Programmable Logic Element - Here's another daft yet interesting
PIC12F675 idea I came up with. When I wanted to show someone how logic gates worked I
could only find a NAND gate which wasn't very handy for demonstrating AND's OR's,
NOR's and ExOR's. I also wanted to have a play with the A/D converter on the
12F675 so I came up with the idea of a PIC..(added 11/05) |
