Capacitor Discharge Ignition Circuit:  (circuit / schematic added 2/03)

Car Alarm and Immobilizer:  This circuit features exit and entry delays, an instant alarm zone, an intermittent siren output and automatic reset. By adding external relays you can immobilize the vehicle and flash the lights.....  (added 10/05)

Car and Deep Cycle lead-acid batteries:  Car and Deep Cycle lead-acid battery answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), tips, information, references and hyperlinks are contained on this consumer oriented Web site about car, motorcycle, truck, marine, recreational vehicle starting and deep cycle applications.  (added 10/05)

Car Back-up Alarm:  The brake lights of the automobile trigger this circuit on and off.  This save the annoyance of the alarm when it is not needed.  This is an older circuit which was published in Popular Electronics Magazine, but still a good circuit today. (added 2/06)

Car Battery Charger:  quickly and easily charge most any lead acid battery, automatically turns charging off when ready (Electronic Schematic / circuit added 4/02)

Car NiCd Charger:  This circuit provides up to20-Volt output from a regular13.2V automotive battery, to enable constant current charging of NiCd battery packs up to15 cells @1.2V (18V total). (circuit / schematic added 2/03)

Car PreAmplifier and Artificial Earth:  (added 8/03)

Car Radio tunes the Amateur Bands:  (added 2/05)

Car Window Closer:  This circuit automatically rolls up a car’s electric windows when it rains. The windows are rolled up one at a time while the system monitors the window motor current. When the motor stalls, the system moves to the next window and shuts off it’s the last window.  Designed by Andrew R. Morris  (added 09/05)

Circuit Multiplexes Automotive Sensors:  01/20/00 EDN-Design Ideas / (Circuit / schematic design added 6/06)

Combination Lock for Car Liftgate:  (added 8/03)

COPS Based Automobile Instrument Cluster:  National Semiconductor - Application Note   (added 2/06)

Dome Lamp Dimmer:  Efficiently dim the cars dome or map light (low voltage light), PDF file (Circuit / schematic design added 6/06)

Dome Light Extender:  This is a nice little circuit for cars which don't have a dome light delay.  Paul Hancock built this for his 1991 Toyota Celica and is working perfectly.  After Paul emailed me his circuit I built it and put it in my 1992 Mercury Sable which was also lacking the dome light delay.  I put a 'U' type TO-220 coolrib on Q3 since my dome light has two bulbs.  As a matter of fact, I built the whole circuit into the coolrib and sealed it off with heat-shrink.... (added 2/06)

Engine Control unit Schematics:  (added 8/03)

FCD (Fuel Cut Defencer):  (added 8/03)

Flashing High Intensity LED 3rd Brake Light:  This circuit to make a flashing3rd brake light assembly was designed to be easy to locate all the needed components and reasonably in expensive to build. (Electronic Schematic / circuit added 4/02)

Flashing/Pulsing third Brake lite for cars:  (Electronic circuit added 4/05)

Fuel Injector Pulse Width Monitor:  (added 8/03)
