Dome Light Extender: This is a nice little circuit for cars which don't have a dome light delay. Paul Hancock built this for his 1991 Toyota Celica and is working perfectly.
After Paul emailed me his circuit I built it and put it in my 1992 Mercury Sable which was also lacking the dome light delay. I put a 'U' type TO-220 coolrib on Q3 since my dome light
has two bulbs. As a matter of fact, I built the whole circuit into the coolrib and sealed it off with heat-shrink.... (added 2/06) |
