Wow! I posted that stuff years ago. I kind of dropped it since it got so little attention.

The circuit is designed to drive a LC series resonant circuit. You can change the frequency by selecting the LC components and the oscillator. You can also use some feedback to operate the LC circuit as part of an oscillator, so it is always driven at the resonant frequency.
