Okay, so I am attempting to build this so I can charge my RC Car by just setting it down on the pad to charge.

I need to charge 4 AA, or 6V, batters. I have already calculated what I need to manipulate to get the output voltage I need. I am using a 9V source and will be dumbing that down to the required 6 something rather voltage needed to charge those 4 AA's.

I have a few questions.

One, What is the kHz that is supposed to be coming out? I have a simulation program, Multisim, and it says I am getting 500-600kHz. Don't think that is right.

Also, What kind of 555 timer should I use? I have all kinds, just need to know what might be the best one to use. I don't want to be using a bulky oscillator.

Last question is, I cant find the P-Channel MOSFET.
