Amplified Ear - Useful to listen in faint sounds. 1.5V
Battery operation. (electronic circuit added 06/07/08)
Amplified Ear (drawn by R. Kollman) - This circuit, connected to
32 Ohm impedance mini-earphones, can detect very remote sounds. Useful for
theatre, cinema and lecture goers: every word will be clearly heard. You
can also listen to your television set at a very low volume, avoiding to
bother relatives and neighbors. Even if you have a faultless hearing, you
may discover unexpected sounds using this device: a remote bird twittering
will seem very close to you. ….(electronic schematic added 11/08)
Amplifier (LM3886) - So what the heck is a Gainclone?
Originally, the term Gainclone meant a clone of the 47 Laboratory Gaincard.
The 47 Laboratory Model 4706 Gaincard is understood to have the following
general features....(electronic design added 7/08)
Amplifier removes common-mode noise on RGB differential-video-transmission line -
13-Apr-06 Issue of EDN Use a single operational amplifier to minimize
common-mode signals' effects on differential-component-video receivers.... [Design
Idea by Tamara Papalias and Mike Wong, Intersil Corp; Edited by Brad Thompson and Fran
Granville]
Amplifier Timer - Turns-off your amplifier when idle for 15 minutes.
Fed by amplifier tape-output. (electronic circuit added 06/07/08)
