Emergency Light Circuits

Links to electronic circuits, electronic schematics, designs for engineers, hobbyists, students & inventors:

Automatic Emergency Light -  This circuit implements the concept of emergency light through relays.  The circuit lights up LEDs in case of power failure and charges the batteries otherwise.   __ Contact: IQ Technologies

Automatic emergency torch -  Just donít think that this is yet  another addition to other emergency light circuits published in EFY earlier.  This circuit is a hit different. __ Designed by bhgya parma

Emergency Lamp Battery Protector -  Emergency lamps do not have a facility to prevent the deep discharge of battery if the lamp remains on during day time.  The fluorescent lamp filament also damages if it is glowing in low battery voltage.  This causes blackening of the filament side that indicates the damaged filament.  So we have to switch off the lamp in the __ Designed by D Mohankumar

Emergency Light -  A simple circuit that activates a light when the power is out.  A version with a lightbulb and another with white LED light included.   __ Designed by Jose Pino

Emergency Light & Alarm -  Powered by two AA NI-CD batteries; Four switchable options __ Contact: Flavio Dellepiane, fladello @ tin.it

Failed Power Light -  This back-up lamp stays off as long as light falls on the CdS photocell from either the NE-2 or from room ambient light.  So, if the power fails at night, the lamp will light.  The 6 volt lamp should be directed away from the photocell __ Contact: Charles Wenzel of Wenzel Associates, Inc.

Flashing light / emergency beacon for vehicle -  No circuit description, schematic only___ CdS Electronic

Fuse-Panel Emergency Light -  The area around the Main Electrical Panel is usual pretty dark, especially if it is located in the basement.  That's during daylight hours.  At night everything is dark during a powerfailure, or tripped circuit breaker, fuse, etc.  This circuit provides ample time to fix the problem __ Designed by Tony van Roon  VA3AVR

Low cost/ Automatic Emergency Light -  The circuit comprises two sections: charger power supply and LED driver. The charger power supply section is
built around 3-terminal adjustable regulator (IC1) LM317, while the LED driver section is built around transistor BD140(T2).  In the charger power supply section, input AC mains is stepped down by transformer to deliver 9V, 500mA to the bridge rectifier, which comprises diodes (IN4007x4). __ Contact: IQ Technologies

Main Fuse-Panel Emergency Light -  The area around the Main Electrical Panel is usual pretty dark, especially if it is located in the basement.  That's during daylight hours.  At night everything is dark during a powerfailure, or tripped circuit breaker, fuse, etc.  This circuit provides ample time to fix the problem __ Designed by Tony van Roon  VA3AVR
