Solar power battery charger - Schematic only, no circuit

Solar power supply - Schematic only, no circuit description
|
|
Solar power supply - This circuit delivers either 4.8 or 7.2 V
regulated at 15 mA with a 3-V input from a bank of photocells. Rl should be
453 kQ for a 7.2-V output and 274 Ř for a 4.8-Vdc output. Regulator
efficiency is around 70%. This should be considered when selecting
suitable solar cells. |

Solar Powered FM Bug - There are many miniature FM transmitter
(bug) circuits online, this one is unique in that it runs completely on
solar power. No battery is required. As long as the sun is shining on the PV
panel, the circuit will transmit. The bug is useful as a "remote ear", and
can be used for anything from listening birds to surveillance work. The mic
preamp and oscillator circuits were borrowed from a common circuit found
around the Internet, I added a regulated solar power supply and an RF amp
that extends the range and improves frequency stability.... [G. Forrest

Solar Powered Flood Light Using NiMH
Cells -
There are many solar powered garden lights available. Most of the devices offered at
the home improvement stores have very poor performance. Their batteries are too small,
the light launched is weak and the solar panels are undersized. None of the devices I
have tested would operate through a typical night....[Designed

Solar Powered LED Garden Light - Reverse engineered circuit diagram of a
popular mass produced solar light. The light automatically turns on when there is no
light falling upon the solar cell, so the parts count is minimal. The charging circiut
is not particularly efficient since the battery must charge through a plain diode....

Solar Powered Lithium Ion Battery Charger - This circuit is for a solar
powered white LED with automatic activation in the dark. It can be used for both
indoor and outdoor night light applications. For indoor uses, if the circuit is
operated near another lamp, it can be set to automatically turn on when the other lamp
is turned off. Circuit features include selectable off/on/auto settings, a built-in
low voltage disconnect circuit for longer battery life and a light activation circuit
with hysteresis.... [Hobby Corner Circuit by Dave Johnson] |

Solar Powered Nestbox CCTV Camera - Observe wildlife inside a nestbox with a
solar powered wireless CCTV camera…. [REUK - Renewable Energy UK website] |
|
Solar Powered Night Light - The goal of this project was to produce a self
contained reading lamp that could be used by students in developing countries for
reading at night. The circuit can be used for a wide variety of lighting
applications.... [G. Forrest Cook] |

Solar Powered Poultry Lighting - Put together a solar system to power
poultry lighting - increase winter egg production… [REUK - Renewable Energy UK

Solar Powered Reading Lamp - The goal of this project was to produce a self
contained reading lamp that could be used by students in developing countries for

Solar Powered Wireless CCTV - Use a solar panel to power a wireless CCTV
system…. [REUK - Renewable Energy UK website] |
|
Solar PV cell Test Fixture - This is an illustration of a test fixture,
which can be used to test individual solar cells for short circuit current.
Using a PIN photo diode and a control circuit, the solar cells can be tested under
constant light level conditions. A halogen incandescent lamp is used as the light
source. (added 7/06) …. [Designed by David A. Johnson] |

Solar Revolver - A single-chip solarroller circuit with reverse and turning
capability; based on a 1381 SE. (added 11/05) |
|
Solar Robots - Make your own solar powered robot at home using things you
probably already have. Transistors, resistor, capacitor, solar battery and flashing
LED are available at any electronic store, if you don't already have them. Solar cells
out of calculators work as well, you might want to use more than one since they are
really small.... |
