VIDEO SIGNAL EDGE ENHANCEMENTS
I designed this circuit many years ago, based on the claims that the technique would
improve the quality of standard TV images. The circuit adds information to the edges
of the objects and was reported to bring out more detail. After building and testing
the circuit, I could definitely see a difference between it and a regular TV display
but I don’t think most people would go to the trouble of installing the circuit for
only a marginal improvement. Still, it is an interesting circuit with which someone
might experiment.

ULTRA PURE 125KHz SINE WAVE SIGNAL SOURCE
For some RFID systems operating at 125KHz, a very low distortion signal source
reference is needed. The circuit shown on this page produces a 10-volt
peak-to-peak signal into a 50-ohm load, with a distortion of only 0.01%.

Edge Detector Runs off of Single Supply - 12/04/97 EDN-Design
Ideas....You can use a single-supply circuit to generate a pulse on both the
rising and the falling edges of a signal for use with counters or similar
devices that require only a rising edge to trigger (Figure 1a]. R1 and.…

Minimum Mass Waveform Capture & Display - The result was a project
that includes a waveform capture circuit, a graphic LCD (Liquid Crystal
Display) and a control panel with LED indicators. The details of the Graphic
LCD display unit, composed of the LCD module, a serial interface, and bias
supply were published earlier on this site,....(schematic / circuit added

Waveform Conversion - sine to square and square to sine / The system
designer is often called upon to convert a sine wave from an oscillator, power
splitter, or other RF device into a square wave suitable for driving a logic device.
There are numerous acceptable techniques and the best choice will depend upon several
factors including the operating.... |
