I live a rather boring life by most standards. I enjoy surfing the
Internet or watching a good movie on TV. I love to test some new circuit design or play with some new sensor technology. When possible and
time permits, I will discuss some of that work here. Often my consulting work can get frantic, since client companies are usually in a hurry
and behind schedule by the time they hire me. Planning for vacations or out of town pleasure trips has been impossible. But, for the
last several years, my consulting business has not kept me as busy as I would like. I have seen better times, as far as income is concerned.
The electronics industry in the US seems to be dying. Lately, I have been getting more international work through Canada, the UK and
Australia. It is perhaps another reason to get more involved in some other business enterprise. There soon may not be an electronics
business to work in. |

As a way to keep my weight under control, I’ve walk about 5 miles most days.
Sometimes I walk with the wife but more often than not, I walk my two Beagle dogs
to a park about 2 miles from my home; walk around a lake at the park, then
home again. |

Once or twice each week I load up my MP3
player with some music or an audio book and take a 12-mile hike on a
nice hiking path near my home. The walk clears my head and burns off
some blubber. |
