Two channel audio amplifier drives stepper-motor -  1-Dec-06 Issue of EDN  Pulse-width-modulated stereo power amplifier saves components.... [Design Idea by Phill Leyva and Bill Quach, Maxim Integrated Products, Sunnyvale, CA; Edited by Brad Thompson and Fran Granville]
Two Transistor Amplifier (Andy Collinson) -  This was one of the earliest circuits that I ever designed and built, in Spring 1982. At that time I had only an analogue meter and a calculator to work with. Although not perfect, this amplifier does have a wide frequency response, low harmonic distortion about 1.5%, and is....(electronic circuit added 1/03)
Two Transistors Audio Amplifier -  (electronic design added 6/07)
Two Watt Amplifier -  Low distortion amplifier using discrete components (added 5/02)
Two way cross-over 3500 Hz  -  ….(design added 08/08) [Site is underconstruction right now]

Two Wire Remote Microphone Amplifie -  uses special amplifier module from Op-Amp Labs (added 4/02)
Two-channel audio Amplifier drives stepper-motor 01-Jan-07 Issue of EDN Europe  Although relatively expensive, monofilar-wound, bipolar stepper motors provide strong torque for a given physical size. However, each of the motor’s two windings requires eight driving transistors connected in groups of four in an H-bridge configuration.... [Design Idea by Phill Leyva and Bill Quach, Maxim Integrated Products, Sunnyvale, California]

Two-Tone Train Horn -  With this circuit you can electronically simulate the noise of a diesel-train horn.  The sound is triggered automatically as the train reaches a desired place on the track so you can produce the sound as the train approaches stations, level crossings, etc. The circuit can be built simply by using one 556 or two 555 timers.  The rest of the parts are readily available and not critical.  The output.... [Tony van Roon's circuit]
Two-Transistor Audio Amplifier -  A simple two-stage amplifier. Use any general-purpose NPN with high gain. It will drive low impedance headphones directly. A speaker will probably require further boost…(added 05/05/05)
Ultra-Low Noise Low Distortion Audio Op Amp -  Linear Technology LT1115  (app note added 02/05)
Ultra-Low Quiescent Current AF Power Amplifier -  This is an audio power amplifier, similar to what is common in transistor radios and other portable audio equipment.  This circuit however, has an ultra-low quiescent current of about 250uA, due to a unique bias circuit. I don’t even know of a chip that does that.  This circuit also has much higher open-loop gain, due....Designed by Andrew R. Morris  (added 09/05)
Ultra-low-noise low-dropout regulator achieves 6-nV/√Hz noise floor -  23-Jun-05 Issue of EDN  LDO has ultralow-noise output.... [Design Idea by By Ken Yang, Maxim Integrated Products Inc, Sunnyvale, CA; Edited by Brad Thompson and Fran Granville]
Universal Buffer -  A hifi preamplifier designed to convert high output impedance amplifiers to 600 ohm outputs…. [Circuit designed by Graham Maynard]
Universal Musical Interface -  Just a picture for now [G. Forrest Cook]
Universal Preamplifier -  ….(design added 08/08) [Site is underconstruction right now]
Updated 60-100W Hi-Fi Power Amplifier -  ….(electronic schematic added 03/08)
Urei 527 Equalizer Schematic -  (electronic schematic / circuit added 9/06)
Urei 533 Equalizer Schematic -  (schematic / circuit added 9/06)
Urei 537 Equalizer Schematic -  (schematic / circuit added 9/06)
Urei 545 Parametric Equalizer Schematic -  (schematic added 9/06)
Urei LA 2A Schematic -  (schematic added 9/06)
Urei LA 3A Schematic -  (electronic circuit added 9/06)
Urei LA 4, this is the black faced LA4, uses 846 op amps Schematic -  (electronic circuit added 9/06)
Urei LA 4A, silver LA-4, uses all 4136 op amps Schematic -  (electronic circuit added 9/06)
USB Sound Card with PCM2702 -  Make a sound card is no more a complex issue. If you use great IC PCM2702 from BURR BROWN / Texas Instruments you can create a fully functional USB sound card.  This sound card can be…(added 08/08/08)
Use Amplifier Phono Input as Line Level Input: Inverse RIAA Filter -  The circuit does two functions: signal level attenuation and inverse RIAA filtering. The signal attenuation is needed to convert the 500 mV signal to 2.5 mV signal. The inverse-RIAA filtering is needed to make the frequency response of the system flat (same equalization that is used when music is transferred to vinyl in the studio). The picture... [Tomi Engdahl]
Using ECM Mic Inserts -  This page describes how to use or connect and use 2 and 3 terminal electret condenser microphones (ECM's). The bottom section shows the connections and how to substitute from one type to another….(Circuit by Andy Collison added 03/03) [Written by Andy Collison]
Using Split Supplies-MP7720-DN0001 -  Monolithic Power Systems, Inc Design Note (added 3/06)
Using the Analog Devices Active Filter Design Tool -  AN-649 Analog Devices Application Notes  (app note added 2/06)
Using the SSM2167 Evaluation Board -  AN-583 Analog Devices Application Notes  (app note added 2/06)This document explains how the evaluation board is set up and how to use it to evaluate the SSM-2167.
Using your Op-Amp Circuit in the real world -  Almost all active (semi-conductor or tube based) audio units add some degree of DC voltage bias. What this means is that the audio signal can have positive or negative voltage bias, this is something that can cause large distortion errors,....(added 08/08/08)
