Analog MIDI Synthesizer -  (circuit / schematic design added 6/06)
Analog multiplexer uses flying capacitors -  22-Jan-04 Issue of EDN This Design Idea describes a way to increase the number of analog inputs to your microcontroller for cases in which adding an analog-multiplexer chip or upgrading to a microcontroller withinputs might be impractical. If the microcontroller you're using has some spare I/O pins and at least one of them is bidirectional or is amenable to tristating, you can configure a simple analog multiple.... Analog Signal Acquisition for PC Printer Port -  DIRT CHEAP ANALOG SIGNAL ACQUISITION, for PC Printer Port Circuitry and Software by Allen Sullivan (added 06/06/06)
Analog switch expands I2C interface -  22-Nov-01 Issue of EDN  Perhaps the most effective way to gain board space and increase component density is to minimize wiring on the board. A widely used architecture that allows such miniaturization is the I2C bus. Comprising only a bidirectional data line, SDA, and a clock line, SCL, this bus requires no chip selects or other additional connections.... Analog to Digital Conversion ADC & Communicating with a PC  -  (schematic / circuit added 2/07)
Analog-to-Digital Conversion Notes -  (schematic / circuit added 10/02)
Analog-To-Digital Converter -  Normally analogue-to-digital con-verter (ADC) needs interfacing through a microprocessor to convert analogue data into digital format.  This requires hardware and necessary software, resulting in increased complexity and hence  total cost. The circuit of A-to-D converter shown here is configured around ADC 0808, avoiding  use of a microprocessor. …. (added 10/05)
Analogue to Digital Converter for PC Serial Port -  This circuit is a simple 8-bit analogue to digital converter circuit which is connects to PC serial port. The circuit is based on TLC548 A/D-converter chip (might be hard to get nowadays, Texas Instruments makes this IC), which is an A/D-converter with serial output. The output of the TLC548 is not directly suitable for standard serial data reception, so this circuit uses serial port handshaking lines... [by Tomi Engdahl]

Apple Ii/Ii+/Iie Ide Drive Interface -  The following document describes the current status of an IDE Drive Interface for the Apple II/II+/IIe.  The project is not complete.  The interface shown here allows the IDE Drive registers to be accessed from the Apple II.  The outstanding item is the completion of the required EPROM so ProDOS recognizes the card as a block device.  Work on this EPROM is currently in progress.... Application Bulletin AB-16 Designing the Input Filter for a Pentium II Processor Converter -  Fairchild Application Notes: The input filter of a Pentium II converter reduces the ripple current and voltage seen by the power source, and can be used to reduce the rate of change of current as well. The parameters determining the sizing of this filter are the ripple current rating of the input capacitors and the dI/dt required by the input line....(app note added 09/09/09)
