IR Detector for Robot - Some of the companies put two transmitters, one on
each side of the detector, to get a good field of coverage for the front of the 'bot
and to detect left and right. 'Robots, Inspiration to Implementation has a great
schematic that you can use to build one of these. I used all Radio Shack parts for the
one I made and it cost about $10 to build. This detector will NOT detect black
flower pots nor the bottom of boots (grin).....(electronic circuit added 10/04)

IR Digital Thermostat for FAN - This circuit measures temperature in Celsius
scale and displays it on an alphanumeric LCD screen When temperature rise to 40 C an
alarm is activated and at the same time a relay is also activated which drives a fan
to keep the temperature at a level.....(design idea circuit added 09/08) [Site is
under construction right now] |

Keyboard to Ascii Decoder - Host to Keyboard Protocol is initiated by taking
KBD data line low. However to prevent keyboard from sending data at same
Time that you attempt to send keyboard data, it is common to take KBD
Clock line low for more than 60us. This is more than one bit length. n KBD
data line is taken low, while KBD clock line is released. (added 4/02)

Key-reading circuit saves I/O pins - 6-Mar-03 Issue of EDN Some
microcontroller applications usually use too many I/O pins to read keys or onboard
switches; in many cases, few pins remain available for other uses. Some alternative
ways to read keys yieldfree pins. First, consider some ways to effect key reading.
Table 1 presents a comparison of four methods with references to circuit
configurations (figures 1, 2, 3, and 4]..... [Design Idea by Gustavo Santaolalla,
