TB068: How to Modify the PICDEM LIN for the MCP201 - Microchip Application Note Published 23-May-03  (app note added 6/06)
Telephone Operated Remote Control using PIC16F84a MicroController - This design controls up to 8 devices using a PIC microcontroller (PIC16F84A) connected to the phone line. The unique feature here is that unlike other telephone line based remote control, this device does not need the call to be answered at the remote end so the call will not be charged. This device depends on number of rings given on the telephone line to ....  (electronic construction project added 10/05)
Terminal Interface with Minimum Mass Wireless Coupler - AT90S2313  This is a Minimum Mass Wireless Coupler that connects a terminal, or PC running terminal software, to other Minimum Masss Wireless devices by means of a 1200 baud data channel at 181.818 kHz. (circuits added 6/07)
The Leach Amp - One amplifier builder found that the 2N5416 PNP transistors that he purchased were NPN. I have tested them and verified this. Two of the transistors are shown in the linked photo. They are identified by the letters ON surrounded by a circle, signifying they are products of ON Semiconductor. You can check...(added 07/07/07)
Timers Collection - Did you know there are at least 6 different kinds of timers? This circuit implements all of them!  With our complete PCB design, you can build yourself an universal module, compelte with power regulator. (design added 6/07)
[_OLD-ads-dont_upload/OLD I-ADS from web/ad-djandassoc.htm]

Tiny Motors - Miniature motors are wonderful for B.E.A.M. robots or moving small loads. A plentiful source of inexpensive commercial motors are those used as vibrating alerts in pagers and cell phones. But how does one remove the metal offset weight?  (project added 08/08/08)

Tiny Tuned Loop Antennas for the Minimum Mass Wireless Coupler - Loop Antennas are considered to be "samall" when their diameter drops below about 1/10 of the wavelength they are intended to be used at. In this case, I use the term "Tiny" because the antenna's diameter is about 1/30,000 the wavelength, and at 5.5 cm....(design added 6/07)

Traffic Light Timer - The 555 timer IC is connected for Astable Operation, the clock pulses are fed to the 4017 IC via the 10K resistor. The 4017 is a 10 stage counter, therefore the sequence of the traffic lights is spread over 10 clock pulses, 4on red, 1 on red & amber, 4 on green and 1 on amber...(added 6/07)

Triggered spark gap - This is purely a construction article….(added 05/08)

Trimming the Internal Clock on a KX8 MicroController - Example algorithms for manually or automatically tuning the oscillator on the internal clock generator of the popular MC68HC908KX8 microcontroller. Also includes batch test results and a video.  (project added 08/08/08)

Tube curve tracer -  ….(electronic schematic added 07/07)

TV Light - Switch you TV lamp while comfortably seated on you armchair, using your TV's remote control (*). Of course, you can use the same circuit for a variety of other "comfortable" uses, like controllin a fan or the heating. Those very versed in electronics DIY...(electronic design added 6/07)

USB Printer Sharing Switch - I had two computers, a Mac Mini and a generic Windows computer. Both were on different networks, but in the same room, and I wanted to share a Lexmark USB laser printer between the two of them. I ended up making this switch to share the printer between the two computers....(schematic / circuit added 6/07)

Variable Power Supply 1- 30 Volt@ 1.5A - This is a simple, but low-ripple power supply, and an excellent project if you're starting out in electronics.  It will suit your needs for most of your bench testing and prototype applications.  The output is adjustable from 1.2 volts to about 30 volts.  Maximum current is about 1.5 amps which is also sufficient for most of your tinkering....(Tony van Roon's circuit added 11/05)

Versatile 3-channels Radio Remote Control - A radio controlled remote control, suitable for driving up to 3 loads using relays. With a 6 keys transmitter...(electronic design added 6/07)

White LED drive from 1.5V - How do you get 3.5 volts to drive a white LED when you only have a 1.5v battery?...(schematic / circuit added 6/07)

White LED inductorless drive from 1.5V & 3V - The operating voltage of white LEDs coupled with my emotional need for low cost for a given function, motivates me to make LED drivers suitable for battery operated lanterns that can run from a small number of cells. White and Ultraviolet LEDs available at the time of this writing, require higher voltages than colored LED's.....(schematic / circuit added 6/07)

White LED Stroboscope With Constant Duty Cycle & Constant Current Drive  - Finally, white LED's are bright enough to use in a practical stroboscope. This circuit can operate as a bench-top stroboscope that, in conjunction with an oscilloscope or frequency meter and bench top power supply can accurately measure rotational speeds, or it can be operated hand-held from a single 9V battery, ...(schematic / circuit added 6/07)

WINAMP & Disco Lights - The Disco Board connects to the Simplified Output, or I/O Interface and allows larger current devices like globes and (Low Voltage) spotlights to be used. The Disco Board is based on the MTP3055E TMOS device….  (electronic circuit added 08/08/08)

Wireless Alarm (nutchip) - A full featured alarm, nonetheless simble to build. It features a radio remote control, delayed and immediate wireless sensors, light to show the status, including and useful pre-alarm LED, and a relay output to drive a siren. Inputs for both delayed and immediate "wired" sensors ....(electronic design added 6/07)

wireless for the bench top ATtiny12   - This section describes an experimental low power, low bandwidth data signaling system that was initially made to operate at 55 MHz (television channel 2 in the U.S.). Before operating a radio transmitter, find out what kind of transmitter operation, if any, is permitted in your locality. Radio transmitter operation is a serious legal matter. This design ...(added 6/07)

Wireless Infrared PIR Sensor - How to modify current "wired" sensor in order to make them wireless. You save money, and get rid of the problem of all those wires. (electronic design added 6/07)

Woody the Wood Puppet  - Ever wanted a simple, inexpensive puppet? For less than $10.00 you can bring Woody to life!….  (electronic circuit added 08/08/08)

XS Boost, Chef's Salad Solar Robot - Includes some unusual parts, such as N-size cells, tilt switches, and a finger-friendly dipswitch. It has a very efficient …. (project added 08/08/08)

Yet Another Mobile MP3 Player - This is an earlier player using a conventional PC motherboard, so the power supply I designed is quite compatible.   (electronic project added 2/06)
