Links to electronic circuits, electronic schematics, designs for engineers, hobbyists, students & inventors:

Car NiCd Charger -  This circuit provides up to20-Volt output from a regular13.2V automotive battery, to enable constant current charging of NiCd battery packs up to15 cells @1.2V (Tony van Roon's 18V total)…. [Tony van Roon's circuit]
Car OBD II J1850 PWM, J1850 VPW, ISO-9141 cables schematic pinout -  (electronic circuit added 05/06/07)
Car OBDII diagnostic interface cable schematic pinout -  (electronic circuit added 05/06/07)
Car PreAmplifier & Artificial Earth -  Especially for car audio installations, can be used for any single supply system (Circuit design added 8/03)
Car Radio Booster -  One solution for increasing the power of an amplifier running on a low-voltage supply, like a car radio powered from at best 14 V, is to use a ‘bridge’ configuration, i.e. to connect….must register on this site.... [Published in Elecktor July/August 2010]
Car Radio tunes the Amateur Bands -  amateur radio construction projects…. [from Peter Parker's website]
Car speed detection device -  Door lock is easy to forget. Even if it does not lock there is seldom case the door opens during travelling.  Even with, when you are getting a child, the child plays and may open the door..(added 04/05/06)
Car Tachometer -  A 555 is configured as a monostable or one shot in this project. The period of the 555 is determined by the 47k and the capacitor from pin 6 to ground (100n). Time "T" = 1.1 RC  or  1.1 X 50,000 X 0.1 X10 -6  =  0.0055 or 5.5 mS (milli-seconds)....

Car Temperature Gauge -  The Car Temperature Gauge is basically the same circuit as March's project with some minor changes to the input circuit.  This circuit will display the water temperature to 1 degree resolution.…. [Designed by Randy Linscott]
Car Voltage Gauge -  The Car Voltage Gauge is based on 3 parts. The input circuit is an Analog to Digital Converter (IC2 CA3162E). The purpose of this chip is to sample an analog voltage and convert it to a decimal value which is read by a Display/Decoder Driver (IC1 CA3161E).  This chip will turn each seven segment display … [Designed by Randy Linscott]
Car Window Closer -  This circuit automatically rolls up a car’s electric windows when it rains. The windows are rolled up one at a time while  system monitors  window motor current. When  motor stalls,  system moves to  next window and shuts off it’s  last window…. [Designed by Andrew R. Morris]
Central Junction Box -  (application / block diagram added 6/07)
Charge Monitor for 12V lead acid battery. -  A battery is a vital element of any  battery-backed system. In many cases  battery is more expensive than  system it is backing up. Hence we need to adopt all practical measures to conserve battery life. As per manufacturer's data sheets, a 12V rechargeable lead-acid battery should be operated within 10. IV and 13.8V. When  battery charges higher than 13.8V … (added 10/05)
Charging & Power Management -  (application / block diagram added 6/07)
Check Engine Beeper -  When wired into a car’s indicator light panel, this circuit will turn on a loud beeper when the “check engine” light turns on.... [Hobby Corner Circuit by Dave Johnson]
