Add Simple Circuit disable function to a panoramic-potentiometer - 02/15/07 EDN-Design Ideas Improved control circuit places monaural image in a stereo field__ Circuit Design by Lawrence Mayes, Malvern, United Kingdom
AF Pre-amp for Kenwood Mc-50 microphone to improve high frequency responce (high emphasis) - Ham RadioSchematic __ Designed by Guy Roels ON6MU
AGC Amplifier (“Another Gain Clone”) - My junkbox contains several NOS chip amplifier ICs (TDA2003, TDA2030, TDA7262, TDA7296, LM386 and LM675T). After a prolonged stay in the attic, I thought I should do “something” with them. Mother Maria insisted that a stereo set should be built for son Henk who has left the home and is a student of mathematics at Groningen University. Initial attempts at building a small stereo amplifier with TDA2030 ic’s were not very successful. The amp worked __ Designed by Arenvvan Waarde
Altec 1566A:Vacuum Tube Preamp & Direct Box Project - There are all sorts of tube circuits, some of which actually deliver The Sound people associate with Vacuum Tubes. Did you know, for example, that asymmetrical distortion generates even-order harmonics while symmetrical distortion produces odd-order harmonics? Neither vacuum tubes nor transistors are exclusively responsible for either type of distortion, it’s really about Circuit design
Amp based on a Silvertone Twin Twelve - ampbased upon an old Silvertone Twin Twelve -- I decided to try another guitar amp (actually, I intend to build two identical single 12" combo'sone for me and one for my TWIN brother, Rich). Although I'm sure a Fender Deluxe knock-off would be just fine for what I needed , I wanted to do something a bit different __ Designed by Bob Danielak
Amplifier - This is the low frequency power amplifier of which the penumbra article can be composed without using it hardly. The about 660-mW output can be gotten with the 16-ohm speaker. This circuit is used for the simple monitor and so on __ Designed by Seiichi Inoue
Amplifier based on LM4780 including a thermal shutdown feature - Audio power amplifier circuit diagrams / circuit schematics __ Designed by Mark Hennessy
Audio Amp Based on LM383 8 Watts - Here is the schematic for an 8 watt audio amp. This amp can be used as a simple booster, the heart of a more complicated amplifier or used as a guitar amp. __ Designed by Aaron Cake
Audio Amp Output Power Limiter - If you hire out audio equipment, or just don't want the kids to blow up your speakers when you are not home, this is the project for you. It is a very simple little project, but will protect the speakers from being overdriven. Any attempt at overdrive will simply cut the amp gain backthe more overdrive, the more the input signal is reduced. __ Designed by Rod Elliott ESP
Audio Amplifier Output Relay Delay - This is a simple circuit which I built to one of my audio amplifier projects to control speaker output relay. The purpose of this circuit is to control relay which turns on speaker output relay in audio amplifier. The idea of circuit is wait around 5 seconds after power up until speakers are switched to amplifiers __ Designed by Tomi Engdahl
Audio Amplifier using BC109C - As can be seen from the circuit diagram we are really using five transistors as the BD679 and BD680 are "Darlington" pairs of transistors. The led must be a green led for correct operation. (The voltage across a green led is higher than the voltage across a red led.) When using a 12v supply the voltage at T1 collector should be (about) 5v and at T2 base (about) 7v. This amplifier will be unstable (it will oscillate) without the 4k7 variable resistor connected to the input. __ Designed by © David Hoult
Audio Amplifier-22 Watt - The 22 watt amp uses a TDA1554 two channel Audio Amp chip and is easy to build, and very inexpensive. The circuit can be used as a booster in a car audio system, an amp for satellite speakers in a surround sound or home theater system, or as an amp for computer speakers __ Designed by Aaron Cake
Audio Booster with 1 Transistor - Circuit only, no description is included. __ Designed by Tony van Roon VA3AVR
Audio Line Driver - A stereo line driver for feeding long cables or buffering an audio source. __ Designed by Andy Collison
Audio Power Amplifier Power Rating Mysteries Explained - I receive quite a number of questions via e-mail regarding power ratings on amplifiers as well as many questions on what clipping is and why it can be bad for speakers. Other questions include things like "What is instantaneous power, peak power, RMS power?" "What is a crest factor and how does it relate to headroom?" I also sense that there is a fair amount of mis-information circulating within the consumer (and sometimes the pro audio) audio community. When I was a teen just learning all of this stuff, there was no one I knew that really knew this materia __ Designed by © 2000-2007 Joe Roberts
Audio Preamplifiers - A very convenient way of making an intercom is to use a loudspeaker as a microphone. This is a preamp with a low input impedance suitable for this purpose __ Designed by Richard Torrens
Audio/Video Sender - This circuit provides you with wireless audio and visual transmission to a TV. The TV acts as a receiver, eliminating the need to buy a separate monitor. You can also hook it up to a VCR or CCD Camera, and even set up a remote CCTV security system!Circuit design __ Contact: info @ wzmicro.com

Automotive 12V to +-20V converter (for Audio Amplifier) - The limitation of car supply voltage (12V) forces to convert the voltages to higher in order to power audio amplifiers. In fact the max audio power x speaker (with 4 ohm impedance) using 12V is (Vsupply+__ Designed by Jonathan Filippi
