Links to electronic circuits, electronic schematics, designs for engineers, hobbyists, students & inventors:

Rain Sound Effect Generator -  Agreeable, relaxing effect, helping to fall asleep Small portable unit, 3V battery powered (added 3/05)
Refrigerator Pig Schematic -  Upon opening your fridge door the photocell is exposed to light and the piggy oinks…. [Reverse engineered schematic by Stepan Novotill]
Ridiculously Sensitive Electric Charge Detector -  This simple circuit can detect the invisible fields of voltage which surround all electrified objects. It acts as an electronic "electroscope."  [By William J. Beaty]
Salt-Taster -  Detects the amount of salt contained in liquid foods (added 3/05)
Simple Lie Detector -  Here's a simple lie detector that can be built in a few minutes, but can be incredibly useful when you want to know if someone is really telling you the truth. It is not as sophisticated as the ones the professionals use, but it works. It works by measuring skin resistance, which goes down when you lie. [Designer is Aaron Cake]
Sleeping-Aid -  Based on electromagnetic-field radiation.  Place it under the pillow, Built-in timer.  (electronic circuit added 06/07/08)
Snore Alarm (Andy Collinson) -  The idea behind this snore alarm, is just to rouse the snorer, not the entire household. To wake the sleeper, vibration is used, not an audible alert. The vibration is provided by a small motor housed in a small 35mm film case, which can be placed under the sleepers mattress or pillow.  This circuit has a level control and peak display indicator, a variable trigger threshold and....(added 10/05)
Snore Alarm Electronic Device -  (electronic circuit added 7/03)
Sobriety Tester -  With all the holidays upon us, understandably some of us will be drinking alcoholic beverages.  This circuit can be used as a guideline how much you have had to drink and how good your reaction time is.  This circuit does not tell you whether you are over the legal limit of alcohol in in your blood....(added 05/08)
Step-Km Counter -  Pedometer has a range of 9.950 meters with2-digits. Slip it in pants pocket for walking and jogging (added 02/05) [Site is under construction right now]
Stress Meter -  This project comes with all parts, PC board and a pre-programmed chip for STRESS METER. But you are encouraged to add more sub-routines to the program and learn to program the chip yourself. You will need the "Chip Programmer Model F" and the software provided below....(Circuit design added 05/07)
Suddent ionospheric disturbance (SID) receiver -  Schematic only, no circuit description included….
Sun tanning timer -  (electronic circuit added 4/05)
Tan Timer -  Six timing positions suited to different skin types.  Timing affected by sunlight intensity.  (electronic circuit added 06/07/08)
The ESP SIM Sound Impairment Monitor -  (electronic circuit added 4/05)
Thermometer -  (application / block diagram added 6/07)
Ultrasound Imaging -  (application / block diagram added 6/07)
Vital Signs Monitor Consumes Less than 50 µA -  02/02/98 EDN-Design Ideas....A remote data-acquisition circuit for monitoring a patient's vital signs--pulse rate, respiration, and temperature--uses very little power as well as inexpensive sensors and circuits (Figure 1]. The….  [Design Idea by Leonard Schupak, Discovision Associates, Irvine, CA]
Wart Zapper -  The Wart Zapper uses a single CMOS 7555 oscillator (IC1), for dual purposes, as follows: First, it pumps up a standard voltage tripler circuit, represented by the capacitor-diode network to the right of IC1 in the circuit diagram.  This takes the voltage up to about 25V, if not a little more. The purpose of increasing....(design added 01/2010) [Circuit designed by Rev. Thomas Scarborough]
Wireless Electrocardiogram Monitor -  (diagram added 05/07)
Zapper for Electrotherapy -  ….must register on this site....[Published in Elecktor July/August 2010]
