Links to electronic circuits, electronic schematics, designs for engineers, hobbyists, students & inventors:
UHJ Ambisonic Decoder  -  Demonstrating that all that's British really is best when it comes to brilliant commercial failure, a surround sound decoder for use with UHJ encoded CDs from Nimbus records...(electronic circuit added : 08/08/08)
Ultra Simple Bass Guitar Compressor -  (electronic circuit added 4/05)
Using A Headphone Console As A Balanced Line Distribution Amplifier -  The author details a special input jack assembly for converting a headphone console into a balanced line distribution amplifier. Note: this article specifies the Rane HC6 Headphone Console, but is applicable to other similar products....[Designed by Dennis Bohn]
VamPower 100 Watt PA Amplifier The schematics on this page are actually of the VamPower 100 watt PA Head and have been kindly drawn and submitted by Andrew Higgins (many thanks indeed Andrew). Though they are of the PA Head, the power supply, output stage and splitter are pretty much the same on most of the VamPower amps. It's only the PA front-end pre-amp that differs.  (schematics added 12/2009)
Various tube Crossover Circuits -  (electronic circuit added 7/03)

Vibrato Unit for Guitar -  ....
Visual metronome -  Schematic only, no circuit description
Visual metronome -  The Metronome is any device that produces a regulated audible and/or visual pulse, usually used to establish a steady beat, or tempo, measured in beats-per-minute (BPM) for the performance of musical compositions. It is an invaluable practice tool for musicians that goes back hundreds of years....(added circuit 06/08)
Vocal zapper -  This low cost device can be used with any conventional stereo system to remove the lead vocal from most stereo tapes, CDs or records. Plug in almost any dynamic microphone and you're ready to put your voice where the lead singer was…. (added 4/05)
Voltage Controlled Panner Circuit -  pans audio left and right [G. Forrest Cook]
Volume Control -  This circuit could be used for replacing your manual volume control in a stereo amplifier. In this circuit, push-to-on switch S1 controls the forward (volume increase) operation of both channels while a similar switch S2 controls…(circuit added 6/07)
Vox AC30 Guitar Amplifier Simulator -  (schematic added 03/04/05)
Wave Multiplier for music Synthesizers -  (electronic circuit added 4/05)
Waveform Synthesiser -  Sampling, Who needs it, when you can create any arbitrary repetitive waveform you like and save it by cutting out a piece of cardboard and moving the faders up to it next time you want that waveshape. Contains a novel(?) analogue linear interpolator to create straight lines between the adjacent voltage levels, rather than the more usual staircase waveform. (electronic circuit added : 08/08/08)
Wien Bridge Theremin -  (circuit / schematic design added 6/06)
Wien-bridge Theremin -  This circuit is a basic theremin with only a pitch control. It uses the "heterodyne" technique, as did Theremin's original instrument. Heterodyning is advantageous in its simplicity, and is made further attractive in this design by eliminating the coils that are usually hard to find....(electronic design 10/05)
Yet Another Mobile MP3 Player -  This is an earlier player using a conventional PC motherboard, so the power supply I designed is quite compatible.....
Zonk Machine & Treble Booster -  (electronic circuit added 4/05)
