Electric Motors

All types of electric motors, including AC, DC, servo, stepper, induction, hydraulic, pneumatic motors.

AC MotorsAC motors include single, multiphase, universal, induction, synchronous, and gear motors. They also include servomotors.

AC ServomotorsAC servomotors are responsive, high-acceleration motors typically constructed as permanent magnet synchronous motors.

Brushless MotorsBrushless motors are synchronous electric motors that have a magnetically (AC induction) or electronically (DC) controlled commutation system instead of a brush-based mechanical commutation system.

DC MotorsDC motors are most commonly used in variable speed and torque applications. They include brushless and gear motors, as well as servomotors.

DC ServomotorsDC servomotors are generally small and powerful for their size, and easy to control. Common types of DC servomotors include brushless or gear motors.

Electrical Winding ServicesCompanies that specialize in the fabrication of custom wound assemblies for a wide range of electrical applications and industries. Electrical winding services also includes the repair and refurbishing of individual wound components.

GearmotorsGearmotors consist of an AC or DC motor with an integral gearbox or gear head typically used to adjust the motor's output speed and torque.

Linear Motors Linear motors generate force only in the direction of travel. They are capable of extremely high speeds, quick acceleration, and accurate positioning.

Motor and Generator Winding ServicesMotor and generator winding services suppliers specialize in producing custom motors, generators and custom windings per customer specifications, as well as companies that specialize in motor repair and refurbishing.

Stepper Motors (Rotary)Stepper motors use a magnetic field to move a rotor in small angular steps or fractions of steps. They provide precise positioning and ease of use, especially in low acceleration or static load applications.

Voice Coil Actuators and MotorsVoice coil actuators and motors generate force when subjected to an electrical current or magnetic field. The coil within the motor is the only moving component, allowing for high speed motion and accurate positioning.
